To my sparkling shoes I wore a new shirt dress from UTERQÜE. Here outside Parco Sushi – a must if you looking for a gastronomic experience.

When Paris hits +40 C you have to escape the city. My best and quickest getaway is to go to Deauville. We took Brian’s car and picked up some friends on our way out. When we arrived Jessica, Katarina and me, were not late to jump in to the ocean.
Hope you had an amazing weekend and happy belated 4th of July!

Hello from Palais Royal! Yesterday it was La Fête de la Musique in Paris where people are playing music in ever single corner, which is quite fantastic. We started off in Jardin du Palais Royal to then finished off at Institut Suèdois in Le Marais, where they had combined Midsummer celebration and Beatrice Eli performance. It was my best Sunday in a long time!

This morning was like waking up to a cut from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. My boyfriend looking at me all mischievous and silly, without saying a word, so I decide to break the silence by saying: “Whaaat? What’s up with that face? What I’ve done?”. Sure enough there’s nothing behind that childish puppy face but he’s own excitement. With no further explanations, nor answers, he let me hang there for some good extra 30 seconds before he stumbles forward with a package behind his back, covered up in a black and white printed silk paper, to then literally shoot it in front of my nose (so I can’t see a shit) and goes: “Here!” and I’m like: “Okaay, what’s thiiis?”, meanwhile I start shaking the package (a tradition I had since I was a kid) and he says: “Just open it, you will never guess!”… And there she is, my first real tweed COCO CHANEL jacket from the 60’s era, when Gabrielle Coco Chanel was still alive. A bob shaped jacket with it’s extraordinary details that my camera does a much better job of showing and retelling than I do in words. Did I hear orange is the new black?

In the seven wonders of Le Marais streets there’s my place where, if you go, you will hopefully find it as exceptionally beautiful as me with its leafy ally. Nathalie Lemel was a militant feminist in the 1870’s, which must have been quite ahead and challenging for its time, considering she lived in France… I guess you can read between the lines here… Here’s a Friday night and I’m wearing a midnight blue velvet dress with a grey melange sweater with open-toe sandals in grained leather and my padded clutch.

Saturday morning we took the car to go to Nice to have a continental breakfast in the old town and then to pop by my favorite vintage store Caprice, where I found this Italien jumpsuit from the 60’s. I’ve been looking for a one-piece for a very long time but since I’m fairly petite I find the hunt rather difficult and painful than fun and smooth, since few of them seem to fit me well (love a perfect fit). The best thing though with this jumpsuit (and that’s why I fell for it) is that I feel free and a bit like a tomboy but still dressed up and chic in it, especially with the crepe silk fabric used and the V-cut embroidery. Friday evening I turned my black midi shirt into a little black dress – et voilà! Love A-shapes right now! Before going out we had dinner in Nice at restaurant called Rosalina Bar that truly recommend and then we were off to Monaco.

Tonight’s choice a pair of YSL (almost vintage) wedges. Love bringing out old favorites and use them over and over again for their perfect occasions, like tonight. Also because they’re easy to walk in and the fact that I feel a bit like a Greek goodness in them, which I’m considering dressing down with a black A-cut mid dress. We’ll see! Happy Friday to you all!
