I’m looking for the perfect pair to break in spring with and Frame Denim Le Skinny de Jeanne Fairfax Delux might be just exactly what I have in mind. Not only is the fit superbe but the wash is fresh and crispy – not too yellow. Love them. So enjoying it’s only Le Printemps in Paris that carries the brand AND of course they didn’t have the de Jeanne Fairfaix Delux. Guess I have to get my butt over to London! Happy Sunday on you All!

New York Fashion Week brought us winter in all fashion senses and never seemed to give up. What in particular caught my eyes were these fox furs at this blond beauty and @Manrepeller by Tommy Ton. I’ve been in Stockholm, Paris and New York this winter and the one time I get snow was back in November – you’re right – in New York. What happened? Is this to expect next week at Paris Fashion Week or are we lucky? Time to gear up!

Let me introduce you the Chloé carly double gold-tone ring. In general you already know that I’m obsessed with gold jewerlies (and frankly almost the only thing I ever wear since I think it goes best with my skin tone and hair color). Feel like I’m seriously checking for an update every lunch. What happened to me? Anyway I’m thinking of getting this simple yet perfect ring that could go with my day looks and make it more edgy. I think I have to pass by the store today and try it.

I went back in the Chanel archives and found Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen and Michelle Legare in Chanel SS 1990 collection photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. Doesn’t it make you wanna have a picnic and spring ASAP? Well for me it does… And the black and white, hair and gold jewelry suddenly feels 2014.

The Olsen’s are wearing these caftan looking knits and it is just golden in my eyes. I need one ASAP. It works for the everyday with pants underneath or the evening without them. Am I getting lazy and just want things to work both day and night? Maybe I don’t know but I clearly have a hook on that for the moment. It’s Valentine’s week. Are you doing anything romantic? Let me find some inspiration for that and post later. Have a great start of the week – I’m having my second coffee right this moment. xx

For spring I suggest you get your hands on something comfortable yet stylish to go with all your outfits. This pointy d’orsay flat in napa leather with stacked heel from Manolo Blahnik just arrived at Barneys shoe salon and I must say it has all the above mentions, if you ask me. I could see myself wearing them to my everyday denim but also to long dresses in any material. It’s like a tweaked ballerina. Perfection.

Happy Monday! Ready for a new week? I thought we kick off this week with some inspiration. In honor to Chinese New Year, Harper’s Bazaar are looking back on some of their favorite saddle editorials (HERE) and it struck me how perfect this outfit would be right this moment (especially in Paris rain and dust). Barbara Palvin by Terry Richardson in all black slightly oversized (sizes) but yet in a feminine way and with this flawless leather jacket – WOW it makes me want to scan Ebay. Enjoy your morning, bises!

On my way to Café de Flore for a rendez-vous Charlotte Gainsbourg passes me on the street. And yes she really looked as effortless as you imagine her. No make-up, no fuss. If you’re like me pale as the snow and not really feel like updating your make-up nor dare buying a colorful top I’d say leave it and save your money honey. I think I spend it Gainsbourg’s latest movie Nymphomania instead.

Sales are still going on and I strongly recommend you to update your wardrobe with some fine accessories. For quite a while I’ve been looking for the perfect belt – you know that you could wear both day and night time. This black leather belt with gold details from Saint Laurent has exactly these elements that I’m talking about. It’s classic yet with an edge to make me go outside my comfort zone, which I like. I say it goes perfect with any denim jean or a dress. Get it @Mytheresa.com.

I love minimalism with a touch of decadence. Like this big embellished earrings. Totally into that again. If you want to get something that will last this year’s trends and next ones get big earrings. Wear it to a plain white t-shirt and straight denim pants. This will make your everyday ran by smoother and everytime you see yourself in the mirror it will shine back at you. Not so bad, huh? I suggest you put your hair in a ballerina bun or a sleek (backslick) ponytail to accentuate your ears and bone structure.

Grey denim, grey jersey. Grey everything. I came across this photo on my desktop today and I don’t remember when and where I found it but I’ve been keeping it (for later). Until now – I’m just feeling it – I’m in a washed out grey spring mood. I could do this exact wash on a pair of regular skinny denim jean and why not a pair of skinny knee shorts? What designer has this grey wash at the moment? If you know and I’d be very happy to find out. BIG thx!

Remember how I spoke about sales how to update your basics and then go bananas on a few accessories? So, the Chanel boutique @31 Rue Cambon is now having their sales and for me this is the ulitmate classics for any of your wardrobe updates. Let me put it like this, I stayed there for over an hour and of course I ended up with something. I will show you later but first off to a Colette venue and the new Kitsune Café, x

Time to gear up your spring closet! I personally think every woman should have a classic ballerina in their closet. If you don’t have one I recommend this one from Saint Laurent or the traditional Repetto. Style it with your jeans, mini-skirt or why not a mini-dress. Make a festive look more effortless. That’s what I like! Happy Wednesday on you! X
